congratulations to Ghouliani!

Personally I would like to see Ron Paul win the GOP nomination. But Ghouliani would be my second choice. I don't think any of the GOP can beat HRC.

the media has been treating him as a near Godlike figure since 9/11.

Outside of Olbermann, how often has there even been a hint of criticism about him?

11. I know for a fact that Ghouliani would not win in NYS

In NYS our RTL (perhaps our Conservative party as well) party will run a third party candidate against HRC and Ghouliani.

so, it's not a big surprise. They know Rudy has more appeal to Middle America than a Sam Brownback or Mike Huckabee and that Rudy will appoint Republican judges. They will use the time to further build up their RW infrastructure so they are ready to go in 2012 or 2016.

That Dobson, unlike Pat, has the courage of his convictions (wrong though they are). Pat wants to keep a republican - any republican - in the White House and is worried about Dobson's threat to go third party if the GOP doesn't kowtow to him. By endorsing Rudy, who looks like the front runner for the GOP, he hopes to minimize any GOP vote loss that would occur if Dobson makes good on his threats.

These are smart people. They knew the numbers weren't ever there for a successful try at a third party, but it was a nice bluff to keep the Republican candidates in-check.

In the end, they'd rather throw their principles to the wind than let a Democrat have the office.

15. When you're in it for money...

all else doesn't matter as long as you can maintain the appearance of being pious.

In the past, Robertson certainly had no qualms supporting a dictator that aided Al-Queda and has used his charity planes for his diamond mine operation.
