Money May Have Been Stolen from Minutemen

Does anyone want to discuss the story of money possibly being stolen from the Minutemen? It was reported, earlier today, that the leader of the Minutemen defense fund may have stolen million of dollars from the group. At one point there was a fund raising period in which the group tried to raise $55 million. I am not sure if they ever raised that much money, but money seems to be missing and the leader of the defense fund does not want to talk about the issue. I do not have a link, but it will probably be reported on again at CNN or cnn.com. I might try to find a link later.

11. The confederate flags, racist language and swastikas and nazi salutes kinda gave it away.
Also, most of the time somebody's going on about "illegals" they really mean some derogatory term for Mexicans. They stole that little wink and nod campaign trick from California Republicans to try out on the national level.

Have you ever had them try to intimidate you because you are speaking Spanish? I have.
Have you ever had to read statements by them in your local rag that they intend to send armed patrols to confront everyone on the street & demand to see their papers? I have.

BTW, one of the founders of the Texas Chapter was just quoted in Russia supporting the "White Power" movement. Calling them racist & bigoted is being too kind, IMO.

Hells bells this was "their" country. And screw the Alamo while we're at it. I saw some of the CNN video but watching those dopey middle aged honkers with their binoculars....made me ill. The stolen money was most likely an inside job.

21. I met these guys SW of Tucson last summer.
Let me tell you that I have never met a group of more batshit crazy, $1500 gun-totin', zenophobic, and racist bunch of weirdos in all my life.

In speaking with them, most of them hail from points north (NYC, Boston, etc) and apparently are more concerned with how they look than employing effective border control measures. 1/2 of the folks I met looked like some paramilitary force with Army ACU uniforms and $1500 Colt 1911 clones.
