THEY GET TAX EXEMPTIONS ON ALL OF THAT MONEY AND ALL OF THE ASSETS THEY PURCHASE WITH IT. Major prophet number one was John the Baptist...he lived in the wilderness, wore naught but animal skins and ate locusts and wild honey (which might have been a challenge to get). Major prophet number 2 (and the purported son of god) never owned a home of his own, probably slept out of doors most of the time...and he was crucified!

Watching this sort of 'justification' allows me to cease all wonder at why people have a distaste for Christianity.
