12. I wish she'd make herself more accountable
It's really irritating; she was saying the same thing yesterday: "the media is ignoring this story!" when on MSNBC every program mentioned it in some way. Tweety characterized it as a lost cause, naturally, but he talked about it.

When she starts talking like this without having her facts straight, I turn her off and resolve not to listen anymore. Rachael Maddow will give me the real stuff.

24. Oh She Says Stupid Things Like
She's the only one who watches C-Span, Keith Olberman listens to her and copies her every word, if it weren't for her, we'd all be clueless, oh and she's insulting and condescending to her fans/callers.

Yesterday I tuned in while she watched the Kucinich vote and she honestly didn't grasp what the GOP was up to. She thought they wanted the truth to come out regarding Cheney/lies. And if she ever listened to her guests (yesterday it was Brent Budowsky) he tried to explain what the GOP was doing and she kept on believing her wacka doodle theory.

people hear what they want to hear. She was gleeful about the republicans voting to continue debate. It didn't sink in even though Budowsky tried to tell her twice.

19. Transcript Speaks for itself
OLBERMANN: Politics stood on its head in the House this afternoon, Democrats try to stop a debate on whether or not to impeach the Vice president. Republicans desperately trying to keep the debate alive. Congressman and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich stood up on the floor of the House to publicly call for what many of what his colleagues privately believe that the vice president should be impeached instead of supporting him his fellow Democrats could not move quickly enough to bury his resolution. Kucinich charged Cheney with knowingly deceiving the American public about Iraq and W.M.D., about al Qaeda‘s relationship with Saddam Hussein and with having violated his oath to uphold the Constitution.

OLBERMANN: From that, the House dissolved into political shambles. Majority leader, Mr. Hoyer, quickly called for the tabling of the resolution with part of the Republican to call for a debate in order to force the Democrats to lay out their position on impeachment which then lead to Democrats going to the motion to go to committee which it was eventually buried this evening or was it? According to house procedure, Representative Kucinich could keep raising the impeachment resolution whenever he wants in the House because he introduced it in the forum of a privileged resolution. Watch this space as they say. Joining us now, Rachel Maddow, .the host of the Rachel Maddow Show on Air America radio, good evening, Rachel.

20. She also said she is being honored by PeaceAction on
11/11 and John Conyers will be there to introduce her. She said she was told she could talk about anything she wants and was going to talk about contractors. She is now going to talk to Conyers and the audience about how important she thinks it is to IMPEACH.

Go Randi!!

And I suppose Randi just had to make something up and rant and yell about it.

22. The only TV news I watch these days is BBC America and they had
nothing on it. However, they were giving the situation in Pakistan extensive coverage and may not have considered what the yanks were up to that important.

I personally think this was a pivotal and important historic moment, not the impeachment itself, but the fact it showed how ineffectual, disoriented and out of touch with the people of the USA that our Congress has become to get any of the people's business done at all.

Those ineffectual "news" outlets really missed a big story here as well. Too bad all the mighty titans, like Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, and even Dan Rather aren't around to report on this historic occasion. Hopefully, Bill Moyers will have a show on it.

32. I missed part of what she said, but I got the feeling she was again patting herself on the back
for being the "only" media figure who was covering something, and once again accusing everyone else of ignoring it...when they didn't.

Just watch. Keith will mention it again tonight, and she will crow "Look! His producers are stealing from me again!"

*sigh*
