Top Conservative Group Wants To Know: Does Rudy Agree With Robertson On 9/11?
By Greg Sargent - November 7, 2007, 3:26PM

Rudy's willingness to accept Pat Robertson's endorsement -- despite his agreement that America "deserved" to be attacked on 9/11 -- is discomfiting at least one major social conservative group that disagreed with Robertson over his interpretation of the disaster.

In an interview with Election Central, a top official at the Family Research Council, one of the most prominent religious-conservative groups in the country, suggested that Rudy's acceptance of Robertson's endorsement should make one wonder whether Rudy agrees with Robertson's interpretation of the event that killed nearly 3,000 of Rudy's constitutents and now forms the basis of his campaign.

"9/11 is what Rudy's campaign is fundamentally based on," Charmaine Yoest, a vice president at Family Research Council Action, told us. "This does beg the question -- does Rudy agree with Robertson's comments about 9/11?"

Yoest also added that it should be asked whether Rudy agrees with Robertson on a whole host of other issues, such as Robertson's defense of China's one-child policy.

Good questions. Will anyone else ask them?

5. Rudy's whole political history is a bunch of easily debunked lies
But, our liberal media has all but deified the guy since 9/11.

I wonder if he'll get any tough questions?

6. Did Robertson endorse Giuliani?
That surprises me right there, considering that Giuliani is not a social conservative. But, wait a minute, I guess it shouldn't surprise me because money and power trumps other things when it comes to Robertson and his ilk, and right now, Rudy looks to be the nominee.

8. My question to Rudy:
Mr. Giuliani, you have accepted a political endorsement from Pat Robertson. He, along with Jerry Falwell, publicly stated that the attacks on 9/11 were "America's fault". Does this mean that you have joined the ranks of the people who Blame America First?

10. True, but non-responsive...
...the point being, Mr. "America's Mayor" on 9/11, who took great umbrage when Ron Paul suggested that our policies might, just might have had something to do with 9/11 and other actions taken against us, at the same time willingly accepts support from someone who came right out and said It's America's Fault Because America Is A Godless Nation. That's a far sight different from him (or any politician) trying to deflect blame for not preventing the attacks -- much different.

My question still stands.
