This was priceless and so saddening at the same time.....
Musharrafs top legal adviser basically told NPR that it is ok to do the things they are doing because America does them.

"Ahmed Raza Kasuri, senior legal adviser to Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf, tells Michele Norris that the extraordinary steps Musharraf has recently taken are no different than what the U.S. did after the Sept. 11 attacks. He says they are necessary to bring peace to the country."

I heard that this evening. Pretty effin' sad. And yet, maybe somebody, somewhere will wake up to how this admin has F*CKED
our reputation and set the stage for this kind of bullshit. I couldn't help but hope that someone who was listeing today might think that
something was wrong with this picture.

THEY have stolen civil rights. THEY have perverted justice. THEY torture. TORTURE. They are so barbaric and inhumane that they TORTURE.

15. Do you remember in Soylent Green when Edward G. Robinson was wheeled into
the dome thing - he'd said his favorite color was orange, his favorite music light classical, and his favorite time the 1970's. So the dome dims and a soft, soothing orange glow envelopes the room, light classical music is playing in the background, and scenes are projected on the dome of fields of wildflowers against a brilliant blue sky with poufy white clouds, beautiful horses running free, happy, laughing people...
