Fresh fruit from FreeperLand: Pat Robertson endorses Giuliani
I know their great leader - Jim Robinson - has stated in the recent past that he will always choose "life" (meaning, won't support Giuliani), so I was curious how this was playing out.

I braved 150 of the 300+ comments in the initial post, and bring you the best and the brightest. Enjoy.

What a fraud. Either that or a senile old man. What kind of conservative religious leader endorses a pro-abort and pro-gay candidate?

Robertson... obviously fear of Clinton is overriding common sense. Giuliani would be a disaster for social conservatives, and yet they flock to him out of fear. Sad.

As for Brownback endorsing McCain, it isn't social conservatism McCain needs a "bridge" to -- he's in deep doo-doo over immigration, and Brownback isn't going to help there.

What is wrong with you Pat?

Have you been bought?

I have zero respect for Pat now.

I won’t believe it until I hear it from Pat. I think this is a left wing psychological experiment and you are all falling for it.

If I’m wrong, then maybe what they said is true, that Pat has mental problems.

If you support a candidate who is pro abortion, pro gun control, and pro gay rights, then he is not a conservative- nor are you.

I don’t think Pat has as much influence as the NY media think he does. I mean, they think Pat controls us or something.

I am interested in who James Dobson endorses.

Seriously though, I’ll support whoever the GOP nominates. And I won’t be sore about it, because I think politics is ultimately stupid. Any Republican is better than Klinton.

I couldn't agree with you more!

Pat Robertson’s TV show has three times as many viewers as Dobson’s. And Pat will be plugging Rudy on an almost daily basis.

The importance of this endorsement is immense.

This is bizarre. I don’t understand how a Christian like PR could endorse Rudy.

It's nice to see the Dems aren't the only ones beating themselves up over their candidates!

1. Hilarious, now we using Pat Robertson for our fiendish experiments?
Code blue, code blue, we have been discovered!! ABORT LEFT WING PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERIMENT!

THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS ENDORSEMENT IS IMMENSE....

LOL!! My husband things I'm so sick, I read that damn thing every single day, it's addicting. I missed this gem of a thread though!

Yesterday one of them was predicting that early calls for the Dem Gov in KY would turn out to be a 'DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN' situation....ha!

3. search for "Giuliani" and order by date. It's the same title as mine.
What's really funny is that several posters answered that guy who was wondering if it was a "left wing psychological experiment".

They all broke the news to him...it's real!

5. They mention abortion, gun-control and gays as being wrong
so the cousin fucking and multi marriages that's ok?
And Rudi - does he agree that NY deserved 9/11 like Marion G. (Pat) Robertson asserts?

6. Sorry freepers.. money talks, values walks!
I love how naive those folks are over there! As IF the republican race is about values (theirs, not mine!). It's about the money and influence and power.. the usual. Perhaps Rudy is an investor in Pat's diamond mines?
