He's a Republican.

5. I was told he was a "good" republican in another post..
I just wanted to see if there were others who felt that way. I vote that there's no such thing.

11. Unlike Kucinich, he gets credit for being against the war all along
I guess ol' Koochy doesn't count because he's a Democrat.

6. He embodies the idea of the gov't in the bathtub
I don't like repubs, but right now the gov't is so big and so invasive that I would support that idea if it was the only way to put a stop to spy satellites looking at us.

8. "Good" really isn't the best word, "reasonable" is more accurate.
He's one of the few republican politicians left that one can find to be a nice, well-meaning person even though one doesn't agree with him on the issues.

14. I believe there's such a thing as a good republican.
When I saw that option in the poll I thought to myself, "well, can I think of any?" and I can. The MST3K folks. They've made me laugh thousands of times and I owe them for it. Doesn't make a difference to me that they're RWers.

Another one I can think of is one of my bosses. He's a black republican (something I was told doesn't exist by some users here) and he's a pretty good man, and he's definitely a RWer (spoke to Bush on the phone twice since I've known him. Bush visited my workplace in 2006 but I didn't work there then).

15. Abraham Lincoln was a good Republican.
Ron Paul wouldn't have fought the Civil War. At least not on the side of the Republic.

Fuck him.
