1. Me too
But you never know. There are many voters who would never vote for a Democrat in a thousand years, no matter how similar the candidate might be. So even though they'd hate it, they'd vote for him ahead of any other. Philosophical prejudices are funny things.

10. I don't consider myself far left so maybe I shouldn't comment, but...
as chimpie proves, there are a lot of dumb god damn voters in this coutry. Regardless, I refuse to believe there are enough dumb voters to elect Rudy.

5. Like all elections Presidential elections, middle america decides
There's a lot of dirt on Guliani yet to be slung around, the only thing that makes me feel decent about Hillary is that the Clinton's know how to wield a big stick when it comes to elections.

7. Her chief advisor, Bill, has had some experience with
mud slinging (slung at him by repubs, to be exact).

6. It will be hard for Giuliani to win agaisnt the prevailing mood
in the nation, which is anger. The people want not just change, but radical change, and if Giuliani wants to win the election he will have to sell himself as radically different than Bush, and I don't think he can do that. Usually, in history, when the mood of the country is like this, it means a change of party at all levels of the government at the next election (1932, 1952, 1980, 1992).
