"TORTURE" Mukasey Confirmed by ALL of the REPUBLICAN Senators and 2 DEMs
40 DEM Senators said NO TO TORTURE....4 didn't vote because of time constraints. It was moot at that point.

All them Pubs needed was the 2(SHUMMER and Di Fi) traitors to vote for Torture as did ALL OF THE Pubs....

Leading me to question....How is it that ALL of them Republicans are AFRAID of COMMON SENSE and voted FOR the damn waterboarding/etc...?

NONE of them PUBs got SPINE?

None of them Pubs got COURAGE?

Notice how they spin it that somehow its the DEMS FAULT??? The REPUBLICAN SMEAR FEAR MACHINE is in full bloom 24/7..

The GOP voted YES to Torture...Who woulda thought????

28. The DOWNWARD SPIRAL for the GOP is in full swing....they had it all
but NO....they had to go and reveal their arrogance and duplicity...and now they went for torture too.....

This move speeds up the spiral downward....soon the Pubs will be only a fraction of what they once were....

The plunge toward irreverence is now on faster than a speeding train wreck....the GOP has done to themselves what the Dems couldn't do...

OK with Mukasey, then Hagel would be too.

5. It wasn't just two Democrats...
Although two were all that was necessary, they also picked up several others, including Nelson and Landrieu. I don't remember the others right now, but figure this: three Publicans didn't make it to the vote (McCain, Kyl, and one other), so there were only forty-six Publicans voting to confirm, along with Lieberman (of course). That leaves seven votes from non-Republicans. We know Schumer, DiNOFi, Nelson and Landrieu...three other Democrats must have voted in favor of torture. :puke:

undoubtedly many of the dead were kidnapped in other countries by * 's flying monkeys and flown to egypt, syria and uzbekistan to contractors to be tortured.

one of the 'ghost' planes identified as used to transport torture victims recently crashed with tons of cocaine aboard..why am i not supprised..

12. Obstructionism Personified
But it's also one step closer to the electoral abyss for the Repugnican party. The more they vote against the will of the American people, the larger the list people will take with them to the polls next year. It's developing a picture of a party that condones torture, shuns the veterans, cuts healthcare to needy children, supports a highly unpopular war, lies, are sexual perverts and the list goes on.

None of them have courage as long as they depend on the RNC and the boosh regime to keep their coffers full. Some Repugnicans fear primary challenges from the right or lack of campaign funds. I suspect next year we'll see some bolting in fears of their political asses (too late), but boooshie boy will still be able to muster the 34 votes to sustain any of his vetoes.

Yep, Opie...they're afraid of common sense as they've been so corrupted and coward into following this corrupt and inept party over the political abyss.

Cheers and aloha!

:hi:

Edited on Sat Nov-10-07 08:06 AM by Hubert Flottz
They never were REALLY democrats, they were GOPer wolves dressed up like Democrats, because they never would have been elected in their neck of the woods had they told the truth and ran as republicans. Beware there are way more of these infil-trators than just those two. We have one or two in my state too. A blue dog is a GOP-Wolf in Dem's clothing...

DLC = "Democrat" Lacking Conscience = GOP Lite...

And to people who'd bust your balls for telling the truth about "Democrats" like DiFi and Chuck...we need to keep our own house in order, or our outrage at the GOP is nothing more than hypocrisy and bullshit. Let your vote do the talking when DiFi and Chuck beg you for it and promise you roses, next time.
