Why haven't the Republicans pushed for public ethics committee hearings for Larry Craig

You would think that this would be something that they would like to get out of the way long before next election.

Its because Craig has the goods on every one of them. Thats why. He has been in DC for a long time. Chances are their peccadillo's are a lot more interesting than Craig's bathroom cruising.

It could be that they are keeping this out of the media spotlight so that people forget the incident, but I'm willing to bet that if Craig tries to run for re-election, he won't be getting any support from the party, which probably already has someone else that they will support.

Why aren't the Democrats in Congress doing their Constitutional duty and impeaching the Junta?

My guess is that, whatever the interesting pecodillos of the Republickers, the Democrats have much worse. I mean, blackmail is the only possible answer to Congress' total reluctance to actually be an opposition party. Isn't it?
