This Gore supporter is throwing her support behind Dennis.
Now, don't get me wrong -- I still :loveya: big Al, and if the stars were to align in the exact right perfect conjunction that would lead Mr. Gore to throw his hat in the ring... well, I'd jump right in ... but it seems to me that, well, that hat ain't gonna get thrown. So based on his courage and his willingness to do the right thing and to speak truth to power, I am going to throw all of my support to Dennis. The impeachment resolution has made up my mind. Yep, I'm going to contribute, get a shirt, and start a Meetup. Who's with me?

1. Yes!
If Gore ran, I would've voted for him but DK has always been my first choice among declared candidates!

Welcome aboard! :bounce: :hi:

2. Thanks!
You know, I've taken all the online "pick your candidate" polls and I always come out with Dennis as my #1 choice, closest to me based on views.

Screw "electibility," whatever that is. Where did that get us in 04? I'm following my heart. :D

12. You guys have made a good choice - and I'm happy that you've found
resolution after your long period of "will he/won't he" uncertainty. I'm not a Kucinich supporter, but I know they welcome you aboard -- and from what I've seen on DU - you're joining a great group. Congrats to you and congrats to Dennis! :toast:

13. It feels good. The impeachement resolution just made up my mind.
I guess I must enjoy tilting at windmills, but hell, it's the primary. I'm gonna vote for who I want.

Actually, knowing my neighborhood the way I do -- we're a bunch of raving left-wing idealists -- I think Dennis might actually be a very shrewd choice if I want to go further in the delegate selection process. Heh.

24. I have to say I really admire you, gately
I know you're a Biden supporter, but this is the second time I've seen you give a thumbs up to another candidate's supporters. I was really touched when you came over to the Al Gore forum when he won the Nobel and congratulated us on our candidate's win. Your attitude is a real inspiration.

3. Yes I made my mind up a couple of days ago and came to the
same conclusion. None of the other Dem candidates comes closer to my political sensibilities than DK does. However, I can't help but wonder if he's electable....if the MSM won't tear him to shreds, even though he does seem to be able to hold his own when grilled. But, I feel the same way about Hilliary and the electability issue.

4. I feel the same way.
I voted for Kucinich in the last primary. He has continued to do most everything right and the impeachment resolution was the icing on the proverbial cake for me. He will get my vote this primary, as well.

I, too, love Al Gore, but if he doesn't want to be a candidate, then I will support the biggest liberal progressive in the race.

Go, Dennis!! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

Perhaps even after. I'm tired of all the "he will/he won't" games and rumors.

15. Moi Aussi!
Not that I have any confidence that the Democratic Party would support his candidacy, let alone his winning election when it is inevitably challenged.
