Will Make Important Campaign Announcement

Des Moines, Iowa – On Friday, November 9th, 2007 at 12:15 PM, Senator John Edwards will hold a special event to make an important campaign announcement. Edwards will be in Iowa from Friday to Sunday to discuss his detailed plans to ensure that we meet our obligation to build a better future for the next generation of Americans. From guaranteeing universal health care to ending the war in Iraq and enacting trade deals that work for working Americans, Edwards has laid out a broad agenda to make sure all Americans have the same opportunities to get ahead that he has had.

Following his announcement on Friday, Edwards will travel to Sioux City, Carroll and Jefferson to meet and take questions from caucus goers.

On Saturday, November 10th, Edwards will speak at the Iowa Democratic Party’s Jefferson Jackson Dinner. Earlier in the day, Edwards will also speak at the Iowa Farmers Union’s 2007 Food and Family Farm Presidential Summit in Des Moines, attend an event with the Carpenters Union, and attend a rally with supporters prior to the Jefferson Jackson Dinner.

On Sunday, November 11th, Edwards will deliver a major speech in Des Moines and attend fundraisers for Johnson County Supervisor Terrence Neuzil and Johnson County Sheriff Lonny Pulkrabek, State Representative Art Staed and Congressman Bruce Braley.

2. What you fail to acknowledge is that few polled ACTUALLY SHOW UP TO CAUCUS...
10,000 Iowans who pledge to show up and caucus is a very large number.
