Gasoline in Orlando FL is now $3.109 a gallon for regular up ten cents from
...this past Wednesday morning. I have seen it from $3.069 to as high as $3.158 at various stations on the way to work today. Does anyone know what a barrel of crude is running right now?

5. Here's a handy link
for checking out what basic commodities are doing: http://www.nymex.com/index.aspx

It's a popular site, takes forever to load, but it gives up to the minute information on gold, silver, crude, wholesale gasoline, and a few other commodities.

12. The Arco station on Foothill near Stevens Creek is always lower-priced.
When I lived there, it was quite handy to have one of the lowest-priced stations in the valley on the corner.

11. I worked in Orlando in 2005 right after Katrina hit. It was 3.12 at the Chevron station nearby.
Of course, I didn't live in Orlando proper but in Buena Vista, just off Interstate 4.

14. Yes it was back then, but actually came back down in early 2006
...to the low $2.00 range, then after the election it has inched back up seadily ever since.

13. It is going up more, a lot more
So far the refiners have been reducing their margins, that is why companies like Exxon didn't quite reap as much filthy lucre as they did last year. But "refinery maintenance season" is upon us, and with that gas will be headed up.
