one who provides a neutral analysis. The caller was excellent in calling the author out on that, imo.

Edited to add: Thank you for your threads alerting us to events on CSPAN, I very much appreciate them!

7. I think he tried to be neutral, or thought he was being neutral.
But there's no way to get access to this Admin. without capitulating.
Probably enough juicy tidbits in it to make it worth getting at the library, but I won't be buying it.

9. teary eyed with Cindy Sheehan?
did he write anything about her in his book?

I heard him once, and he's clearly a victim of the access game, VERY careful not to step on any BFEE toes with actual substantive criticism

just a bunch of humanizing propaganda

10. Went to check it out and found that CSPAN 2 is gone from

my local cable service's basic cable channel range. It has been moved to channel 255. The 200 range at my local cable company is for premium (extended basic) service yet there it is at 255. Persons with basic will never know where to find it unless they happen upon it in a channel range they normally have no business viewing or unless they contact their provider, as I am in the process of doing now myself.

The operator says: We have no control of channel movements.

I said: You're sales and you can't give me a better answer? Perhaps you'd like us to investigate using satellite service?

Operator: Just one moment please.

And as of right now, I'm waiting for an explanation of why it has been buried.

Charter Communication always has sucked. I call shenanigans.
