Murdock: "Water-boarding is something of which every American should be proud"
What an asshole.,maybe Murdoch should be water-boarded himself if he thinks it's so damn 'beneficial' and tell us how uncomfortable it really is and how proud of water-boarding he feels after nearly being drowned to death...Fuck these fascist Ceo pigs.I HATE Murdoch what a SWINE!!

In a November 5 National Review Online column -- "Water boarding Has Its Benefits" -- contributing editor Deroy Murdock wrote that "aterboarding is something of which every American should be proud," adding that "hough clearly uncomfortable, water boarding loosens lips without causing permanent physical injuries (and unlikely even temporary ones)." In fact, according to medical experts on the effect of torture, water boarding results in both short and long-term negative consequences for mental and physical health, including possible risk of death, as Media Matters for America has repeatedly documented.

8. Isn't forcible ingestion of shit a torture technique?
Seems like I remember the Romanian secret police under Ceaucescu did that to a few prisoners, especially Roman Catholic priests.

14. It's more of a serving suggestion, rather than a procedure.
It's a "if he could be so kind as so take several large bites of shit then keel over instantly, it would be, you know, appreciated."

so we don't have to burn them at the stake.

12. Yeah, it's right up there with the KKK, witch hunts and McCarthyism
...and all those other special times and people that have fucked up so much for so many out of nothing more than rampant ignorant fear.

Proud moments in our history. Real proud.

13. "Traditional American Values"
Same as it ever was. Wallowing in our blissful ignorance, as usual.

But don't worry, your masters would never do anything to hurt you.

19. he's an idiot
Waterboarding doesn't simulate drowning. It is drowning. It forces water into a person's lungs. Even if stopped before killing the victim, it is still drowning, just as it is still choking someone to put your hands around their neck and squeeze, still stabbing someone to stick a knife into them. Death is a possible result, not a necessary result, and injury is very likely.
