But now that Bernie's become a pariah (ignoring the fact that Rudy's his kid's godfather) and everyone wants to distance themselves from him (never mind that he and Rudy were business partners) as he faces both state and federal charges growing from his assholery and cheating ways (never mind that Rudy pushed him for DHS Secretary) and may face serious time in the can (never mind that Rudy pushed him to go to Iraq as some Police Training Czar) he suddenly becomes Rudy's "FORMER" friend?

Made the head of Riker's Island crew by Rudy

Made NYPD Commissioner by Rudy.

Was chosen as personal bodyguard by Rudy.

Was the standard 'face in the crowd' at EVERY 9/11 picture with Rudy in it.

Yeah ... there's all that. But as soon as he get's his dick caught in his zipper (literally and figuratively) he's Rudy's "FORMER" friend.
