You've posted some wonderful stuff here, contributions you can be proud of. Your Taxicab posts rank right up there with the best writing I've seen on my 6+ years on DU; I always think of those when I see your username on a thread.

I know you've been through some tough times. Life is hard, and it's hard not to go on a downward spiral when too much shit converges at once. It's a real trick to maintain a sense of balance in the midst of a personal crash. Triage is called for -- separating what is essential from what is not, after all, a life-threatening disturbance.
