I've run off so many neighborhood cats today, and one of them 4 times, so that the wild kitty could try to eat and be comfortable! Last night HAC got enclosed in the garage with wild kitty and we didn't hear any cat fights during the night, so I think that HAC is trying to get used to wild kitty, and that's a good thing, and how much longer should I make a run on sentence? :hug: :hug:

The local TV station, channel 9, ABC news, that I watch early prior to tuning into C-span's Washington Journal, is the lying TV station that stated that because of the damage in Marion County, stated that Marion County wouldn't be voting in the special election yesterday, and further stated that Marion County Schools would be closed. I've made phone calls today, and I'm trying to give the TV station the benefit of the doubt in the false reporting not intentionally done to try to suppress voter turnout.

I still have my doubts as the district is heavily democratic! :hi: :hug:

70s era apartment complex. The construction was corrugated iron, and you could hear EVERYTHING going on above, below and either side. Well, when Mr. Casanova went at it upstairs I though my bedroom ceiling was going to come crashing down.

And when the thumping stopped, I'd hear clunky footsteps to the bathroom followed by a toilet flush.

This was before they popularized the phrase "Too Much Information"!!!

my next door neighbor. But the guy who used to live upstairs re-did the hardwood floors a few years ago (when Mr. smokey and I were both working the night shift. I christened him the Mad Sander) and since then we've had a succession of the noisiest people on earth living above us. The people who are up there now are the worst.

I just want to try with my wife to find some sort of holiday spirit since at least around here so much of this has been lost through the years . People are not the same and neither is the look of the city around us . Then perhaps we can find a way to get the hell out of here and find some quiet little place where things may be still real .

THe way things are and if all does turn to hell I honestly have no idea what we would do other than not go quietly .

and I have really tried to find something that even slightly resembles what it used to be like here and I can't other than a few areas that have escaped the progress of the machine and I know they will soon be gone too .

I imagine it's this way in many places in the US now and I don't know what people feel about it because no one talks about it they just say oh , how nice this is now when it's not it's sterile and high tech crap .

I truely feel when people change the landscape the people change with it , they are altered .

and the E! channel. What I'd love to do is pack up and move to Amsterdam; at least I could get high and not have to worry about getting arrested.

It seems not that long ago I could watch certain movies I liked mostly odd independant films or something like turtle diary and feel calm and hopeful that even a simple life is fine , now I try to watch something like these and it's down right depressing because I know it will never be like that again . I don't do change well , especially this 7 years of horrid drastic change .

Who knows , I just heard there was an earthquake in central calif , they seem to be working north and far south of me , maybe this will change the entire landscape overnight .
