Listening to Holly on XM, and Eartha Kitt's Classic Will Never Sound the Same Again
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eartha_Kitt

Oh, the mischief that an opposition campaign staffer could have with the ringtones: http://www.lyricsdownload.com/eartha-kitt-santa-baby-lyrics.html

Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree,
For me.
been an awful good girl,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Santa baby, a 54 convertible too,
Light blue.
I'll wait up for you dear,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Think of all the fun I've missed,
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed,
Next year I could be just as good,
If you'll check off my Christmas list,

Santa baby, I wanna yacht,
And really that's not a lot,
Been an angel all year,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Santa honey, there's one thing I really do need,
The deed
To a platinum mine,
Santa honey, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with a duplex,
And checks.
Sign your 'X' on the line,
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight.

Come and trim my Christmas tree,
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's,
I really do believe in you,
Let's see if you believe in me,

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing,
A ring.
I don't mean on the phone,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight,
Hurry down the chimney tonight,
Hurry, tonight.

2. I Got the Bug Early This Year...
... and holiday music is both easy on the budget and chock full of good memories.

Our mom used to put the record player in the hallway, with one speaker in the boys' room, and one in my sister's, shortly after Thanksgiving.

: )

3. yeah the vinyls, gosh my mom had all of them
but Andy Williams, Percy Faith and Johnny Mathis were my favorites as a little girl. I have successfully found most of my fav's on CDs now. And when Napster was in fashion I spent 8 hours a days downloading Xmas music so I have quite the collection. Time for a little Holly now! (Since my TV system is not working)

It's been snowing here since early November, so I have the bug too -- it looks like Christmas used to in the US!!

4. Cool Pic!!!
Where's "here" for you?

Mathis, Crosby, Kitt, Love, etc. - my mom still has the vinyls, and I've grabbed the CDs of them.

You know XM is expanding its holiday line-up beginning the 19th, right?

5. No I did not, have to check out the website
wonder what they have on tap?

I'll give you a hint. Home has the best, purest beer in the world (speaking of on tap) -- Alps 30km away, and....he is from 'here':
