Heard the rumor at our big tailgate outside Yale Bowl. Of course, it was not true, but we Bulldog fans needed something to explain this near blowout (Yale didn't score until the 4th quarter!). Huge crowd this year, as both teams were undefeated in the Ivy League.

Ted K. and Chuck S. were spotted tailgating and I imagine they were pretty happy. I was hoping Kerry would show but since he is a Mass. senator, that might not be cool...

3. It's kinda personal for me. My ex husband is a Harvard man
so I like cheering Yale on.

Actually, games at the Bowl are fun, now that it has been refurbished. The great New England fall weather, and a wonderful stadium where future presidents and captains of industry have battled it out since 1913, and watching varsity college teams where there are no athletic scholarships. The Yale Precision Marching Band, which spoofs Big 10 bands with their fright wigs and marching off in odd directions and half time skits where the other side chants "Boring, boring, boring."
Quite an experience!

5. Ah, but to the Ivy Leaguers, only the undergraduate degrees really count.
So if the guy is anything, he is a Yalie. Altho I must say that many of my Yalie acquaintances and friends would disavow him in an instant...
