Russia readies nuclear fuel bound for Iran (Nov 26 Bushehr)
http://www.iranfocus.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=13195

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia on Friday gave the clearest indication yet that it was ready to send uranium to fuel Iran's first atomic power station, upping the stakes in a diplomatic crisis surrounding Tehran's nuclear program.

Russia's state-run nuclear fuel producer said inspectors from the United Nations' nuclear watchdog would later this month start sealing nuclear fuel bound for the Bushehr plant, a major step to shipping the fuel to the Bushehr plant in Iran.

In a report on Iran issued on Thursday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said it had "made arrangements to verify and seal the fresh fuel foreseen (for Bushehr) on November 26, before shipment of the fuel from Russia to Iran".

"Russia has formally informed (the IAEA) that it is ready for the Bushehr nuclear fuel in Russia to be checked and sealed on November 26," IRNA quoted Mohammad Saeedi, deputy head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, as saying.

"This means, from a technical and legal point of view, the fuel for the Bushehr nuclear power plant is ready for transfer to Iran," he said.

Iran will be waiting for those shipments
and it looks like Putin is going to send it

1. Take that, Dick.
I get the feeling we aren't going to start bombing Iran any time soon. It sounds like that would be equivalent to taking on Russia.

Good. When a country gets wild and out of hand, and won't let inspectors in, then it's time to talk tough. But that isn't the case. So back off, Dick.

4. If Iran wants nuclear capability for ENERGY, why does it need to export oil and gas?
They have plenty of resources of their own.

I don't think Iran has been very honest about their claim.

5. iran is not a threat to us
they are scared of us just as much as we are scared of them

and their president is not a dictator, iranian politics is pretty complicated and there are a lot of forces, such as business interests, that would not let him do anything crazy

nothing is gonna happen if we let them have nuclear power, unless we start it first

6. I think its so prophetic the fuel goes to "BUSH" ehr reactor
that it would have the Bush name on it has a certain irony and symbolism
