Business spends a Trillion dollars on marketing
I'm reading a very good book by Jamie Court called "Corporateering".

http://www.corporateering.org/kit.php

In it I ran across a fascinating statistic. According to the author, American Corporations spend $1 Trillion (with a "T") annually in the USA for marketing-advertising. Americans have to buy a lot of over-priced junk to support that budget.

There are 115 million households in American. So that means Business spends over $8,600 per home. That is obscene considering the poverty level is about $16,000.

And the Republicans whine because businesses have to pay taxes. If they can spend that much to brainwash Americans, they can certainly afford to pay taxes. The more taxes, the better.

1. They should just hand out checks.
Seriously, if Proctor & Gamble sent me a check every year, I'd probably be more loyal to their brands.

2. "The more taxes, the better."
At least until the national debt is paid off.

At $28k per person or whatever the jive value is, putting $8,600 toward it wouldn't hurt - would it?
