I didn't see this on the greatest page so I figured it must not have been posted yet.
It's sad that this is happening in the USA.
Healthcare for all. Kucinich '08.

5. Shameful.
Those RAM workers are to be commended, and they need serious resources and reinforcements!

6. Where is the closest med school? Hospital?
This is sickening! People shouldn't register for medical care in a barn, get six teeth extracted and sent to sleep it off in a truck with a scrip for antibiotics, and wait for hours in the rain for medical care!

Where is the rassafrackin' AMA chapter for West Virginia! Why aren't they making things happen on the state level (they have power and use it when they want to)?! This is intolerable. People should never live like that!

Why aren't the med students working in a clinic there staffed with PAs and NPs? Where are the attendings? Why aren't they taking rotating residents to keep the clinic staffed? There should be a full-fledged clinic with enough exam rooms, a nice waiting area, space for the optho guys and the dentist, and everything. How hard would that be?!

I know the free clinic in Kalamazoo often gets jampacked. It only covers Kalamazoo County, though, so I've wondered why we don't have one here, just one county over, in Calhoun. This kind of thing just burns me. We have the resources, and we need to get them to the people who need them!
