Does anyone know whether Sen. Reid has in fact acted on this?
I am just curious and checked C-Span - but nothing is happening there...

every third or fourth day, to meet the requirements of being in session.
Good move, Leader Reid. Now JUST KEEP IT UP! No more capitulating to the
forces of evil. Bush is getting some appointees into positions by naming
them "acting" or "acting deputy" (name the position.) Complete assholes,
are Shrub and his treasonous cohort...

That Reid would keep Senate open...Bush was hoping for an opening over Thanksgiving and Reid jumped the gun.
The abuse of rules and power is insane
