Poll paints lousy economic picture (from USA Today)

Gore couldn't win in 2000 despite things being pretty damn good after the Clinton years...People for some f-ing reason, couldn't vote for a Democrat becuase of Monica Lewinsky...To paraphrase what Bill Maher said in concert in Anaheim last year: "Did Al Gore sway Monica's head back & forth underneath the desk"??.....

After these last 8 years, not only should the Democratic nominee win, he/she should win in a landslide....If a Democratic president had the record of GWB, the next Democrat to run for POTUS would probably lose 47 states...Why are people willing to give Republicans carte blanche?...

Losing 2004 was bad enough, & no, I still haven't gotten over it...Yes, we do have the House & Senate back, but it all starts with the presidency..2008 is the most important election in our lifetime...

1. Our candidate won't win if we allow the presidency to be stolen for the third time in a row.

2. Looks like they only asked about the US geographic sector of the economy. Pretty useless poll.

3. Why is it "useless"?
"More than three-fourths of Americans say economic conditions are getting worse, the highest reading since the Gallup Organization started polling on the question in 1991", according to a Gallup survey released Monday.
