The nuance of impeachment
I have to REALLY ask myself if Pelosi feels like she can continually circumvent the Constitution by keeping impeachment off the table. The Constitution is clear on this subject. There isn't ANY amendment that says impeachment is off the table when it might be politically polarizing or might cost political capital or simply "just because".
In a country based on laws, I am thinking this might be considered aiding and abetting...or...harboring a fugitive.
Regardless, democracy is supposed to be messy. If one doesn't want to get one's hands dirty, then one should not participate because the framers didn't intend for the Constitution to be used as leverage in elections.

1. Aiding And Abetting Is Exactly What It Is
and what we should start calling it.

2. OK, I'll take the part of some DUers. Find LINKS to what you're saying
or otherwise, you're OUT OF YOUR MIND! I've heard that, on this and other issues. I was one of the nuts last week who sent her a handwritten letter. I don't think it matters, but I'm glad I did, for myself.

3. You matter sister
You matter very much. When all is said and done, you will have been a patriot for this country.
Proud to share even a little bit of cyberspace with you.:toast::patriot:
I may be out of my mind, and I might not have a link handy, but BY GOD I have every right to believe that the Constitution is being neglected right now.:)

4. Thank you. And we all do, and have to try to do the right thing, always.
Even if it's not fashionable.

5. Nothing in the constitution
requires congress to impeach.

8. I think the necessity is
in doing it successfully, not in a failed gesture.

And until we can do it successfully, we'll be hurt by trying.

7. I wrote her
What I said was very simple: If Dems won't defend the Constitution now, why should we trust they will in '08?

I'm not giving my vote to anyone who can't understand that.

9. I did, too. I also mentioned that
her reputation was on the line, as well as everyone else's. In the very nicest way. She got some letters, no doubt. ;)
