Could Tweety be the catalyst in getting impeachment on the table ?
He appears --for what ever reason-- that he has latched on to the Scotty revelations more than anybody. He's rabid over it and spending lots of air time to the story. He's serious & focused and acts like he won't be bs'd.

This is how journalism is suppose to work. You put the facts out front for all to see. No fair & balanced attempts to muddy the water. Just the facts....you just keep hammering until the rest of the media has no choice but to take it up.

I've been optimistic in the past that someone of prominence would lay out the case, and I've been disappointed. Maybe "this" messenger may give the whole thing traction.

One can hope.

15. Nope.

There are no charges that could possibly be brought against Scott McClellan. More, Mr. Matthews had taken a stance on the Plame scandal from the moment that Karl Rove called him to say Valerie Wilson was "fair game." This is evident not only from Joe Wilson's book (see page 1), or Valerie's book (note the title). One can also read the court documents that Mr. Fitzgerald filed to compel Miller and Cooper's testimony: Rove and Matthews gave very different descriptions of their phone conversation.

In regard to the Plame scandal, Chris Matthews stands above all other journalists involved in the case.

5. I think he may have a vested interest here...
after all, he was contacted early on by Rove in an attempt to use him like they did Russert and others. Tweety probably knows this is all going to eventually come out & his reputation is on the line too.

6. Tweety's No Innocent Bystander
Cheney tried to get Russert to fire him...shut him up. Ever since he's learned that Tweety's had Crashcart in his crosshairs.

I'm glad that this story is back and Snotty has all but vindicated the Wilsons. It's one of the last things this regime needed to deal with considering all the other investigations closing in on this corrupt regime.

Tweety's out for some revenge here...but it only seems to extend to Crashcart and Rove...he soooooo much wants to believe boooshie boy never knew a thing.

Tweety is no journalist. He's a bobblehead...the political equivelent of a gossip reporter. Journalism begins after Tweety finishes at 8/7 Central.

will turn on a dime. you can bet that in two weeks, he'll be back on track when the syndicate tells him that he better quiet down ..or else

Or else what you might ask...maybe there are reasons why people here in Philly don't have much to say about him...ya think?

10. Tweety can kiss my ass. He's just as much a lying sack as Bush.
He goes on television night after night and never delves deeper into anything other than to allow Pat Buchanan to spout on about how great Hillary Clinton is. Matthews is a whore of the worst kind...a cheap whore who won't admit he's riddled with disease.

16. He's selling Scottie's Book ...nothing more to see there...move along...
He's so contorted with his own conscience he spins in the wind...but he owes his career not to GE but to Roger Ailes. He will spin and spin...but he needs to look to his future. He's all we have besides Olbermann...so on those nights when he "appears" to be trying to help Dem...just remember he's no more than a paid shill to spin from side to side always looking for the highest bidder for his power and job.

I watch him when I can stand it...but I gave up hope the more and more I could see how incredible his "spinning" for "himself" is. He's a master at "double talk" and "self preservation." If he sometimes appears to have "awakened" it's only an illusion with him. It's his job to appear "fair and balanced" or in his case "bi-polar" shifting and spinning from show to show always keeping one audience or another either enthralled or angry with him.
