A poem by my niece, please enjoy
She had asked if I'd post some of her work, and I am more than proud and happy to.

Dear Memmems, I simply adore you :loveya:

In the darkness, creeping shadows
Race ahead of me
Pants, footsteps, heartbeat
A discordant symphony I forge ahead to
An explosion sounds behind me
The shadows beat me to a darkened alleyway
Something presses against the back of my neck
My stomach tightens; I turn
Cruel and cold eyes
Gleaming and sparkling
With a fanatic mad man’s dream
Bore into mine
His eyes
Can only be likened
To those of a rabid dog
They are the last thing I see
I am never heard from again
