Protest oil wars by not consuming oil
On second thought, nevermind.

We need our cars too much.

Pardon the interruption.

2. Get a Prius
Then go plug in and solar (possible with a Prius)

Fuck the government - can't sit around and wait for them to make it easy, we need to just do it.

The rest of the world is doing it, and China is working on a dirt cheap hybrid to export.

We are their weakest link.

12. In all seriousness...
as far as the oil goes...switch to a synthetic
lubricant such as Krytox.

From their website..
"Reduced Environmental Footprint-- Using Krytox® oils and greases can eliminate the need for hydrocarbon lubricants and their potential environmental impact. They last longer, so less lubricant is needed. They are nontoxic and do not release volatile organic compounds into the atmosphere.

This type of lubricant is a fluorocarbon polymer of polyhexafluoropropylene oxide.
Over simplified explanation - it's like liquid teflon.
It can be 'cleaned' and re-used indefinitely.

Downside - Very expensive, upside - increased lubrication and coating of internal
motor parts greatly extend the life of the motor.

Due to legal reasons, I cannot link to this website. Google it.

I'm not optomistic anymore at all about our prospects. I used to be, and am generally a positive person. Now I see what time it is and the clock is out of battery.

Hydrogen-based. I dont work for Honda or anything, but I love the concept. Hell, if I lived in one of the test markets, you can bet that I'd be one of the first to sign up.
