A copy of a letter I sent to Newsweek
I have been a subscriber for more than two decades but after seeing the latest issue with Karl Rove in it's pages I must now cancel my subscription. I will in no way support anybody or any organization that supports Treason upon these United States of America. Karl Rove committed TREASON by knowingly and willingly outing a Covert CIA Agent and in fact bragged about it at the time by claiming the Agent was "Fair Game". By giving a known TRAITOR a platform in your magazine to put forth more of his TREASON you have lost me. I once swore an Oath to this country to protect it from all enemies both foreign and domestic and you have now become one. I have almost two years left on my current subscription and would like a refund for all time remaining. I have sent a hard copy of this letter with all my related details to your Customer Service Department requesting such. I am sorry to have to do this but have no real choice in the matter. I will not in any way support TREASON.....

1. Well said.
I can't understand why anyone gives these criminals a forum, including Tom Delay. Wish I had a subscription to Newsweek so I could cancel it.

3. They're anticipating more than a few of those notes as a result of that hire.
Didja know his 'publicist/head hunter/agent-whatever' actually tried to start a BIDDING war for him with TIME???

TIME didn't bite. Guess they remember how much he cost them in legal fees with Matt Cooper...!!!

4. Good for you, Toots. Maybe if Newsweek gets enough cancellations,
they'll rethink hiring the treasonous bastid.

DUer Autorank asked "What would people have said if Der Spiegel had hired Himmler?"

If you have reason to contact Newsweek again this might be a good question for them.

6. I cancelled TIME when they gave Rove a guest column
and NEWSWEEK hires him full-time? I think I'd be pissed, too. Sadly, out collective outrage amounts to a speck of dust to these media monsters.
