My letter to Eliz Hasselbeck.

Dear Elizabeth Hasselbeck, I just love you. You are the republican woman personified*. You are just so dang cute. And I like your reasoning. The other day when referring to the rumor started by that nasty Novak guy, you stated that there probably was something to it because…..because the rumor is out there. Using that logic then Cheney had a tryst with Jeff Gannon, Bush a tryst with Condi, Bush used to use cocaine, Bush didn’t fulfill his National Guard duty, etc. But you are so damn cute, why would we expect more.

*I am so sorry to be using such large words. I forgot who I was writing to. Here’s the definition of personified. “To be an example of; to have all the attributes of.” Did I mention that you are so cute.


For the record, I do not watch The View. I heard Elizabeth’s comment on Stephanie Miller’s radio show.

Stupid people, I can ignore. But, "willfully" stupid people.... Why does Barbara keep her on the View? I know, she generates controversy, but geebus.

I suspect this question may be naive, but I'm going to ask anyway...

I certainly hope men would not "look past" her lack of intellegence, but knowing men I wouldn't be surprised. In fact my wife would frame it something like this "Men are pigs".

I think Eliz is being exploited for her cute dumbness actually.

It was not Eliz Hasselbeck that I heard with the quote, but Margaret Hoover. In my defense, she sure sounds like Hassebeck. In any case I apologize to Elizabeth for misquoting her. I was lazy and didn't do my research. One of the reasons i like DU is because members keep an eye out for accuracy. Thanks to the responder that caught my error.

I hope everyone (except O'Reilly) has a happy holidays, merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, including Hasselbeck.

Wouldn't that be like willfully short? You think she is stupid on purpose? I don't think she can help it. But her success is because she is cute and not-too-bright which is the perfect woman for a repuke.
