The terrorists have truly WON: "Tucker Carlson's Days At MSNBC Could Be Numbered." BWAHAHAHAHA!

MSNBC Hedges on Tucker's Future
by Zachary Roth Published: November 23, 2007
Tags: Media, MSNBC, Tucker Carlson

Rumors have been flying recently that Tucker Carlson could soon be on the way out at MSNBC. In a report that aired this morning on NPR, Phil Griffin, a senior vice president at the cable network, described Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as part of the MSNBC "brand". Asked whether Mr. Carlson was also part of that brand, Mr. Griffin replied: "He is right now."

Not exactly a vote of confidence.

2. Tucker is amazing isn't he. It's always, 'Sure Bush and the Rs
did the wrong thing, but where were the Ds? It's really their fault.'

He should do sports next. 'Sure Jordan and Pippen had their role, but without Craig Hodges, Stacey King, Cliff Levingston and others, the Bulls go nowhere.' Pretty much the logic TC uses every day.

That would be more in line with his awesome knowledge and talent.

5. Once he got cut back to one show a day
we knew he was really on his way out. Even Willie Geist knows it and it looks like he's hooking his star onto Joe's morning show. Poor little Tucker, he has no place to go but Fox.

12. The definition of "poetic justice" would be for him to return to CNN...
...complete with a return appearance by Jon Stewart, who could call him a dick AGAIN.

CARLSON: I do think you're more fun on your show. Just my opinion.

(CROSSTALK)

CARLSON: OK, up next, Jon Stewart goes one on one with his fans...

(CROSSTALK)

STEWART: You know what's interesting, though? You're as big a dick on your show as you are on any show.

(LAUGHTER)

CARLSON: Now, you're getting into it. I like that.

STEWART: Yes.

Their credibility and reporting skills are about the same and I wouldn't be surprised if their fan base overlaps.

11. Crooks & Liars had an excellent "must-read" post on Scarborough today...
Joe Scarborough Shows His True Partisan Colors On Morning Joe

http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/11/24/joe-scarborough-shows-his-true-partisan-colors-on-morning-joe/

Friday’s Morning Joe on MSNBC marks the day when host Joe Scarborough officially abandoned his “middle man” act and returned to his highly partisan, right wing roots. Earlier this week, Alabama football coach Nick Saban compared his team’s recent losses to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. Yeah. Scarborough, a die hard Alabama fan, was off the day Saban made his comments and co-host Willie Geist brings up an offensive e-mail he sent (partial transcript pictured above) that day to defend the coach’s ridiculous remarks. Geist suggests the e-mail was written tongue in cheek, but Scarborough stands behind his words.

I don’t give a damn about Alabama football, what I’m concerned about is the way Joe chose to offend victims of real tragedy by comparing their suffering to a football loss? — because it’s his favorite college football team? WTF do liberals have to do with a coach’s self-involved idiotic remarks? E-mail Joe (scroll down for e-mail section) and let him know how you feel about his comments.
