3. Lordy!
:eyes:

I *love* how he has a piglet conveniently outside the window, which he awkwardly reaches for. Then, after pulling his gun he pushed the guy in the tan suit in the face. He doesn't punch him, or menace him with the gun. Oh, no! He pushes him in the face. How effete for a manly 50's man.

12. See post #11
'Trask' apparently is not the real Trask:

" Suddenly he is interrupted by someone who appears to be U.S. Treasury agent Pete Trask, who burst into the room, throws a squealing pig at the Iranian official, and says, "Here rag-head! Take this little fellow home and barbecue him for breakfast!" The agent then flees, having effectively sabotaged the treaty. Outraged by this deliberate (and extraordinarily absurd) insult to Islamic customs, the Iranian leader cancels the treaty. Later it is revealed that this ruse was the work of a Soviet agent disguised as Trask, who is trying to poison relations between Iran and the West. Inevitably, the real Pete Trask sets matters straight and ensures that the treary is signed."

13. Right out of Orwell's playbook
accuse your enemies of subterfuge that you yourself have committed.

4. Uncanny.
But that poor little piglet. Fortunately Pete Trask throws as if his wrists were pipe-cleaners.

Is the pig alright on the next page. Does he bite Trask's pecker?

5. The writer for 'T-Man' nailed it.
Guess it was pretty clear, even back then.

8. It looks like Trask was supposed to be the good guy.

A quick visit to the site, and that seemed to be the case.

It now occurs to me that there is a possibility that some of the dialog could have been photoshopped. Not that I think that's the case. Racism was a given, and acceptable in the fifties. ("raghead", etc.)

15. It would be very interesting to learn more about the writer of this comic.
Considering what I read in a post above, that the panel in the OP actually depicts the arrival of an evil Soviet agent disguised as the good guy Trask.

The *REAL* Trask defeats the evil Commie *FAKE* Trask, and the oil deal with the Iranians is saved!

Considering the timing of this comic in relation to the CIA-sponsored overthrow of Mossadegh...

Anyway, I'm certainly curious about the author's political views.
