Great Line from Bette Davis.
Bette Davis was never one to Sugar-Coat anything...

Miss Davis and Joan Crawford were bitter Enemies.

A Reporter (after Joan died) asked Miss Davis what she thought about Joan dying.
Miss Davis replied "I was taught to always speak good of the Dead....Joan Crawford is Dead..Good!"

1. Right after Crawford died, K Hepburn was outside her NYC house and someone said to her...
"You used to be Joan Crawford, right?"

She responded: "Not anymore."

3. That was the ultimate cat fight
One of my favorites along that line: Tampa Bay Coach John Mckay when asked what he thought about the execution of his time, he said, "I'm all for it."

5. Whatever happened to Baby Jane
Joan Crawford (Blanche): You wouldn't do all these horrible things to me if I wasn't stuck in this chair!

Bette Davis (Baby Jane): But ya are in that chair Blanche! Ya are in that chair!

6. Makes ya wonder
just how much of Davis's performance in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" was acting.

9. monmouth,the movie you're thinking of is "All about Eve"

You aren't the only one who gets things a little confused.

As someone who is getting more "chronologically challenged"

I remember Bette Davis' line, "Getting old is not

for sissies".

11. Comedian Jackie "Moms" Mabley used a similar line (risque album cover linked).
"Of the dead, say nothing but good. My ex-husband is dead. Good!"

Rare "Moms at the 'Mich'" album cover.

14. See 'The Lost Albums of Jackie "Moms" Mabley'
Moms always tried to out-Foxx Redd Foxx. That involved some pretty raunchy stuff.
