Poll question: GOP Elimination: Which Loon Should Go First?
If this were the first round of the finals of American Idol, which GOP candidate should be voted off the stage first?

It's probably easier to see the loons and "no chancers" for what they are when judging the other side. Please vote based on who you thought wasted America's (and the other candidates') time the most.

Candidates are listed in the order they appeared on stage, left to right.

Thanks for registering your opinion.

1. Let them all stay..
and bring Brownback back for an encore.

They hurt themselves every time they appear in public.

10. Thank God for TiVo...
... I honestly couldn't stand to watch it all the way thru, without some skips.

By contrast, I watched/listened without video to the Vegas debate several times.

2. I say Huckabee - if this was American Idol voting.
If the current leaders tank, he is the most dangerous. He's the most personable of the lot, good sense of humor, experienced executive, and very good speaker. The only reason he is not out front is because the media has annointed the Ghoul. The whole point of American Idol voting is to eliminate the opposing team's strength, so in the final push you face their least dangerous.

Oh, and BTW, he's NUTS, too.

6. Save That Strategic Thinking...
... for the later rounds.

This is the first round, where the weaklings who somehow made it into the Top Ten should just be put out of their misery.

; )

7. I'm gonna go with Thompson. What a fuckin' no-show.
Although it's fun to watch the crestfallen faces of the GOP goobers who had him pinned as the Great White Hope.

13. Tancredo Achieved His Purpose...
... and he's among the three I'm mulling over: Hunter and and Paul are the other two.

If I were to give any of the three a reprieve, it would be Ron Paul.

Call it the Sanjaya Factor.

21. McCain put Bush back in office in 2004 by covering up Abramoff scandal
so he really deserved a huge kick in the rear side.

Ironically, John McCain's campaign contribution history looks like an Abramoff client list!!
