Groups that demanded an "up or down vote" for Bush's Judicial Picks prepare to leave
You may remember that the battle over Bush's judicial nominees was particularly controversial, and it was filled with rhetoric and proposed changes to the rules of the Senate's operation (With things such as the "Nuclear Option").

So, it is very interesting to see these groups begin the process of packing their bags and getting out of the political arena as Bush's second term draws to a close.

Progress for America, a group that was involved in the struggle, hasn't updated it's site since the beginning of earlier this year. All that's there now is it's front page and a statement on a ruling from the FEC.

The Committee for Justice, a group founded by a person connected to the Bush Campaign and interested in "promoting constitutionalist judicial nominees", has slowed down in it's news and seems more interested in Mukasey and Southwick rather than the process of nominees now.

What guys, you don't want to be around to demand an "up or down vote" when a Democrat becomes President?

1. Exactly
these same puke funded groups will be back demanding fillibuster after fillibuster, if they have the numbers for every Official nominated by a Democratic President.

I think all of these front groups, Dem and Puke should be fully transparent with all donations and members made public so they can be traced through time.
