I'm Joining the Campaign to Change America

Gore isn't running, I've accepted that.

And with Kucinich talking about Ron Paul being part of his administration, V.P. or not, that's just too idealistic for me. I like Kucinich and I'm very much aligned with him, but this is a possibility I cannot accept and I believe it yields an aspect of Kucinich I do not find favorable... he's too much of a dreamer. There is such a thing as pragmatism and it matters when getting things done. I think his talk of Paul being V.P. is a small preview into his character that he will be too unbending to compromise and even if he is right, will cause problems like he did when he was Mayor of Cleveland. Yes, he was right. But who paid the price for his righteousness? He will steer the ship so hard back in the right direction that the steering wheel will break and we will be stuck on a course that leads us near where we are today.

Edwards then is the candidate I find I am most aligned with politically and characteristically. I believe he will be able to move us most efficiently back in the direction that will restore America to it's pre-Nixon days as far as conservatism in gov't goes. Our foreign policy needs dramatic work, while at the same time, the middle-class needs restoration. I believe Edwards understands how to best approach and solve these problems, simultaneously, without further endangering our environment and our security.

So I'm tipping my hat early to Former Senator Edwards. I'll do what I can to help him become elected.
