President Huckabee?
I can't imagine it, can you?

I won't imagine it, will you?

But then again, I couldn't imagine a President *. Dumb Clucker

And to this day I will still deny he is my president.

Please, what ever power there may be higher than me, don't let this be the case.

The american peoples is dumb, but they can't get that dumb can they?

Can they?

Can they?

Can they?

They way the "media" talks and writes lately, he might be the R nom.

I know we can bury Giuliani, Romney and Thompson, what happens if its Huckabee.

I know he's got hims faults, but he might get those nutsos out in full force and he comes off as less fundamental to middle of the road folks.

Now this is just my feelings, I have no real reasoning for them, but what if it is him.

No alcoholic beverages will be served (where they can be seen, but all the SAVED Entities who gather to frolic can slip out into the parking lot -- as usual -- for a snort or two in the Huckabee Hospitality Van !!

Gimmeee that Olde Time Religion (and make it a double shot) !

3. Better than Pres Rudy, who gives me some...
real nightmares. Huckabee might be an improvement over what we have now, but Rudy or the ugly old guy would be disastrous.

Don't EVER think in terms of who we want them to run because it's an easy win. We thought that about the dumbass pantload in the White House now, and look where it got us. Twice!

4. People don't know politics
if they think Huckabee will win the Presidency. Giualini is and has always been the threat. He hurts us among moderates and middle class N.E folks. Huckabee is too cookey and weird. Sure he comes off nice and holds the religious right together in the GOP coalition, but that means squat if he can't appeal to the center.

5. I hope it's Giuliani
Once you turn the heat on him, he gets all nasty and starts having temper tantrums, becoming menacing and petty and doesn't think twice about this happening in front of cameras. I trust -- if he's the nominee (and I don't know that he will be, in the end) -- he'd shoot himself in the foot many, many times. Much too much greed and hubris -- combined with actual intelligence, unlike Dim Son -- can be too much of a good thing if you're his Opponent. Just hand him the shovel. He'll start digging his own political grave.

12. You obviously don't know Huckabee.
He is far more personable than the Ghoul, doesn't have the hair-trigger that the Ghoul has, he has a good sense of humor and is extremely well spoken. We know he is a fundie nutcase, but he doesn't come across as one to the less informed. He has spoken out about his reservations about the war, which will appeal to a LOT of moderate republicans that the Ghoul cannot hold with his hawkish views. A progressive, anti-war dem (if you can find one) could tear the Ghoul to pieces in the general, but would lose to Huckabee, who is SOLID with the RR and does not make the moderates uncomfortable. Most important, he is a repub who is, as far as I can tell, completely untouched by the corruption scandals of the past 7 years -- something that Guiliani is IMMERSED in.

Huckabee is the danger. Not the Ghoul.

11. Agreed
And at least Huckabee can construct a complete sentence which the current occupant of the White House still seems to find a bit daunting.

9. Huckabee's the GOP's "Plan B"...
...they wanted a "Reaganesque" nominee, so they tried to groom Fred Thompson in that role, and we all know how that went.

So on to Plan B...a God-fearing, "family values" guy like Mike.

A guy who has the National Sales Tax...A.K.A. the "Fair Tax"...a tidy little scheme that would kill off whatever is left of the middle class...as the crown jewel in his platform.

We need a candidate who's capable of winning, and then we ALL need to get behind that candidate 100 percent.

It's as simple as that. Giuliani, McCain and Romney might be too damaged to get the nomination. Thompson's a joke. That leaves Huckabee, and he's being positioned as the Second Coming of Christ by his supporters.
