Important link for the next few months...
Not politics but health. This is the CDC flu activity website. It gives info on how widespread the flu is, where it is, what to do, etc. There is a link to weekly maps, so you can see how it is progressing around the USA. There is also info on deaths from pneumonia people get after getting influenza. Wash your hands. Don't touch your eyes or nose. Take your vitamins. Stay healthy. A 21 yr old relative died a couple yrs ago from pneumonia after having the flu, I was out for a week last yr with the same. Stay healthy.

4. Things you can do
We had a health forum about this very topic a couple of years ago, but the information is still good.

1. If you or your kids are sick, STAY HOME

2. Wear a face mask when out in public, like they do in Japan.

3. Take along a bottle of hand sanitizer and use it often. Places that can spread germs easily are door knobs and light switches.

4. If you have to sneeze and don't have a tissue, sneeze into your elbow. If you use a tissue, sanitize your hands afterwards.

5. Make chicken soup or vegetable broth using astragula root and shiitake mushrooms. This combination boosts immune systems.

6. Take lauric acid as a supplement to boost the immune system.

5. Stay home is an important thing.
I got the flu, then pneumonia last yr from someone who decided that it was more important to come see me at work than stay home. I hear "everyone already has been exposed" and "but I'm indespendible", neither of which is accurate. Please, take responsibility for yourself and stay home. I can't afford to get sick, I don't want to spread this among my clients.

6. I've had pneumonia
and nearly died from it. In fact, pneumonia is what killed my father at the relatively early age of 62. I'm verrryyyy careful about my health, especially when it comes to respiratory ailments. Sounds like you are, too. Stay well.
