Where I Stand Going Into The Primaries
I live in TN, so it really doesn't matter where I stand.
But, for the record, here it is.

I love Kucinich.
But, forgive my realism, the American people are not ready to vote for a guy who looks like an elf.
They don't hear a word he says.

As far as the Clintons, the Welfare Reform and Telecommunications Acts in 1996
hurt a lot of poor people and continued the media deregulation started by Reagan
and are a big part of why we have no real news today.
Her voting record is as pro war as any repuke.
Although there is no hard evidence, the circumstantial evidence of both Mena
and the recruiting of Bill at Oxford to be a COINTELPRO agent
have the clear ring of truth to my ears.

Obama lost me when he said he would pull a Gerry Ford concerning the crimes of the Cheney Administration.
In fact, I see all of the others doing the same.

Except Edwards.

He's been saying the same stuff he's saying now since before the Fraud of 2004
(I know too much about Ohio to ever be able to call it an election)
and it hits a home run with me.

He's got the looks. He's got the message.

Edwards is my guy.

If he doesn't get the nomination, I'll get behind whoever does.

I'm used to holding my nose and voting the party line.
I've done it every election since I've been old enough to vote.

This election is vital for us to win.

But I also think Edwards - is the most Electable

And if he can - offer Biden, Obama, & Kucinich a Job (a few others) VP or a Cabinet post then we would have team...

2. Tennessee here also, so I know of what you speak.
I do believe John Edwards is our best hope for the general election. Hillary has far too much baggage and after I saw what they did to Harold Ford here in my area, Barack doesn't stand a chance. Anybody we send out there can expect to be slimed beyond anything recognizable as 'truth', these slimy bastards are not constrained by facts, so we can just get ready for their 'rovian' tactics right now. IMHO

7. I'm casting my absentee ballot for Edwards tomorrow in NH.
But as you said, whoever gets the nomination gets my vote in the general.

8. Edwards is the ONLY viable candidate addressing THE issue that undergirds all others . . .
and that is corporate influence and control in Congress and the White House . . . EVERY critical issue facing us today -- war, the economy, job outsourcing, environmental degradation, food safety, you name it -- can be traced directly back to the incessant corporate drive for more and more profits at the expense of everything else . . .

no one is willing to even talk about this "issue behind all issues" -- except John Edwards . . . he has earned major props -- and my vote -- for doing so . . .
