I've decided NOT to support any of the candidates
You see, after careful analysis of many years of voting history the data are very convincing.

Every candidate who I support ends up losing! Now that just sucks. The logical explanation is that I am a jinx. Yep...jinx.

I'm bad mojo, man.

I bet if I threw my support to Hillary right now, then in 10 minutes CNN would have a headline story describing how she slipped on ice out front of the Blue Bell Ice Cream plant in Iowa cursing her mother as she fell on her butt. Then, her numbers would drop 15 points in the next hour.

Yep. And if I said that I was an Edwards guy, then it would be reported that he got some kind of bad mange and started to develop itchy sores on his scalp. Ten points vanish in an hour! Boom.

And Obama...if I supported Obama today then a strange story would come out that he was not just related to Strom Thurman from an old genetic line, but that Strom Thurman was actually his father! BAM! 20 points down.

Poor Kucinich would be in the negative support territory if I affixed his bumper sticker to my car...no doubt.

So, as it stands today, I'm doing them all a favor and supporting no one.

(Perhaps I should declare for Huckabee...hmmmmm)

1. "Perhaps I should declare for Huckabee...hmmmmm"
Could you just register as a Republican and doom the entire party? We'd honor your sacrifice and speak of you reverently in hushed tones.

That would be a brave sacrifice, wouldn't it?

I don't want him getting anywhere near the WH.

7. "Perhaps I should declare for Huckabee..."

Don't feel bad, I've come to accept that I too am a jinx. My support equates to near instant death.

11. We could be the Democratic Secret Weapon
We infiltrate and destroy with nothing more than our support for their platform...I like it, and it just may work!

They'll never know what hit them!

9. I haven't had a good open primary record
who I support (if its not a sitting pres or vp) tends to go down in flames.
-Hart (oops Monkey Business) and Biden in 1988 (oope - a little plagerism)
-Tsongas in 1992 (but at least I got to vote for him before he dropped out of the race)
-leaned Dean (but liked Clark as well) in 2004

I think supporters should thank me for staying nuetral at this point ;-)

Yes, we jinxes are bad news. I forgot about Tsongas...I supported him too.

12. Its good to see you Stuckinthebush!
While I find following the candidates interesting - I am much more focused on the other side of the aisle - and on general trends in public opinions on issues. I really think that regardless of who leads the tickets (on both sides) that bushco and the now looking ridiciulous far right talking heads have poisoned the well for the GOP. I think the dem candidates will win handily, and dems will win broadly in Congress.

13. As always, you are wise
I think you are absolutely correct. The Dems will win handily. Congress is where we need to increase our majority significantly to make sure that Democratic priorities are pushed through.
