10. Des Moines
Big crowd -- the caucus I watched on C-Span 4 years ago was in a private home and "only" attracted about 30-50; whoa -- 365 at this one!

Do you have to get permission from the mods? Or just declare it to be official?

29. I think you just "declare it"...
But that means paying close attention to the threads in GD as once a thread gets too large (whats too big?) someone starts another official thread #2, #3, etc.

My guess. But I'm not too sure - kinda like caucus rules.

23. Iowa should do extreme caucus
Show people where they have to stand then suddenly turn off the light and give them 15 seconds to get there. Turn the light back on and make people freeze in place. Then count who has the most supporters. :D

I am finding the Richardson supporter - talking to other second tier candidates - very interesting.

Right now I am wishing that we did a caucus rather than regular voting - this is so participatory. Perhaps I am just getting swept up in the moment.

92. Do I understand this - at the precinct being shown they
declared which candidates were not viable and that they should realign, but that they can still realign together (that is - so while Richardson wasn't yet viable (but close) in this time frame some of the Biden, Dodd, Kucinich and Gravel folks could come over and join with Richardson's camp to make Richardson viable?

to get him "viable". Has nothing to do with his policies (he is a fine candidate) but the drama is intense.

and as I typed this - they disbanded.
