The media is telling us that it is over and they have chosen our presidential candidate. I usually don't pick a horse in the primaries. The last time I did it has left me feeling disillusioned and wondering what makes this a democracy. The primary system feels seriously unfair. How can a couple of football stadiums choose for the whole country?

Congratulations to Senator Obama on the win. He clearly earned it and fought a smart and thorough fight in Iowa. But, I respectfully hope that there is more of a test before the nomination is his. (I actually hope the nomination goes to Edwards, but i'm a dreamer.)
