picking Democratic candidates for us.

But they managed to do it again and they are getting even better at it. Even my most disliked Dem cnadidate will walk all over whomever the RRR's choose but the decision is, ahem, SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE HANDS OF DEMOCRATS, not losers such as yourselves.

Dear Fourth Estate: An overwhelming anount of the sorry state of the US lies at your feet. You won't report on a bad economy, massive administration corruption, viable candidates that have much to offer, and not one of you has the spine of 1/10th of Helen Thomas.

Any chance you care to do anything about it? Or would that mean missing your root job?

2. I just wish there was some way the democrats could get
a commentator on the air with OUR point of view. The republicans are still buying up all the airwaves. I fault Ted Turner for turning over his empire to the republicans. He had enough money he didn't have to sell out. And how about Buffett and the other democratic billionaires why in the hell didn't they get together and buy the MSM up for the Democrats. I suppose because they had too many high ideals, they never thought the media could be so damn crooked and corrupt. Every time a newspaper goes under, I feel sorry for the employees but I cheer that there's another piece of crap that can't spew the republican voice.

Just look, the voting, such as it was in Iowa is over. But the MSM jumped off it right away and have had almost constant coverage of Brittany Spears and her "breakdown"...a poor little rich girl that didn't get her way and got all doped up again, and again and again. And it is splashed 24/7 all over the news...when he are not hearing one thing about all the killing and fighting still going on in Iraq. The MSM has been silent on this for the last two months. If the surge and bush highly intelligent and compassionate decisions has ended the war why in the hell does he still need billions and billions for Iraq.

3. He was on Imus earlier, gave a great analysis, and didn't do ANY 'picking'
Buchanan is an isolationist, a former Reform Party, ex-GOP conservative who takes the GOP argument on tee vee to get a paycheck.

He's a fucking PUNDIT. He is not a reporter, he's an old political hack who used to work for Dick Nixon. He has no power to pick anything for anyone. He has opinions, and they're like assholes, everyone has one.

Do you ascribe authority to the man that he doesn't possess? If you don't like his bullshit, pick up the remote and push that OFF button.

4. He's Been On Corporate Media Welfare For Too Long Now
I was fed up with Buchanan in the 80's on CNN. Now he's like the cranky uncle who sits in the corner and sits and taunts the little girls who goes by. I think they bring him on for comic relief or just to piss off people...he pisses 'em off on the right just as much as the left.

Now are you expecting "the village" to stop channeling talking points? To chuck the "conventional wisdom"? To stop using "telephone" journalism where one rumor goes to another and ends up at the drinkie drinkie party? Give up the nice cozy membership at the country club? The big speaking fees at the right wing/Abramoff banquets and institutes? The punditry is never going to act, they only react.
