Iowa down, the repub candidates are all pathetic, and the Dems represent a vitally needed change in this country. Their message is being heard. Game on, fellow Democrats. Starting today, we're marching all the way to the White House!

1. It's a TRAIN.
Democratic Socialists see nothing to celebrate in the victory of a Corporatist and a Dominionist.

Sorry to be a downer.

3. Edwards did well too
And Huckabee, long term, isn't going to be a strong candidate. The elite of his party clearly dislike him, and I don't think he's a very skilled politician.

But then again, I'm not a Democratic Socialist.

6. From your mouth to Dog's Ear Bryant....
But after following this like a disciple trailing Jesus since 1967, I have my doubts. H will do WELL in the south, and remember Obama is not exactly the DNC's "Fair Haired Child" no pun intended.

This hangs on the wall of my office:

4. There will be substantive change, bank on it...
being involved in policy issues in Washington, I already see it even with the paper-thin margin on the Hill. This will NOT be anything like what we've seen the last eight years. Will it be perfect? Of course not, but after enduring eight years of the worst Presidency this country has ever seen, I'm sticking with cock-eyed optimism.

7. SATAN would be better than Bush....
Not that ANY of the Democratic Party Candidates are the sovereign of the infernal regions, But I hardly see that as a reason for joy and warm fuzzies.

Clinton and Obama are CORPORATISTS, Edwards is 50/50 to last until the convention, and contrary to most here, I REMEMBER hearing people say, "Oh, don't be such a DOWNER! Bush will NEVER be president."

Insert HUCKABEE in place of Bush. Could happen, and even COULD sucks ass.

2. Not completely.
Crimes and the truth are still in hiding from the people. We will never fix the problem that way.

5. I was going to post the same thing.
If they're not willing to impeach, at least there is a term limit. And with people actually voting now it seems more real that the B/C era is ending.
