Are your local right wing hosts chortling about Hillary this morning?

I was forced to catch a few minutes of the John Depetro show at the barber shop this morning. This is the guy who got run out of Boston for calling a candidate a "fat lesbo". Anyhow, he was laughing at how Hillary finished third, and paying lip service to the fact Obama won. He also said the Clintons must of hated losing to " what they consider white trash like Edwards.....a slick, fast talking lawyer.....which he is". Anyhow, he was trying to act like he likes Obama (which I know is bullshit, the guy might as well wear a white hood while he does his show) and also running down Madeline Albright (most incompetent Secretary of State ever he said.......I choked when I heard that.)

Look, I'm an Edwards guy and this is why. Hillary and Obama draws the racists and misogynists out of the woodwork, where a guy like Edwards probably doesn't rile them up enough to get them to even vote. It's kind of sickening to hear the reich wingers babbling away because they hate Clinton so much, but I really think they want Obama as the Democratic candidate because in their heart they know the racists of America like themselves will be out in full force to vote against him and sweep in another Repugnicon. So they are just going to enjoy seeing Hillary get embarrassed in the meantime.

They see it as having to beat a black guy, a "woman everyone hates" and a lawyer - three easy targets for them.

I kind of think it's funny because they all have become so divorced from reality due to the mental gymnastics of avoiding facts and the truth so they can justify defending the Bush and Cheney Gang, that they really think they are going to win this one. Then again I wonder if they know in their hearts that their side will just cheat again - I actually had some freeper-type brag about how if they cheated and got away with it, it just proves that they are better.

I think a Clinton/Obama ticket would be amusing, although I have to wonder: would the heads explode all at once, or more like a string of firecrackers?

...I support Edwards on his views, not just because I happen to think he's the most electable. But I'm stating a reality of elections nowadays. We need to stop sitting around talking about it, and get minorities and women out there voting, because the people who hate them will be out there full force.

But trust me, they'd be spinning Edwards views on how awful it is that he cares about unions (and therefore, the little guy, who we know they think has nothing to do with how the country runs) soon enough.
