Racist pigs for the GOP and Huckabee?
http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/immigration/entries/2007/12/11/minuteman_founder_endorses_huc.html

Why do republicans support such psychopathic, non democratic drivel? It is what actual conservatism IS.
Don't know where these back wards bully boy woman hating thugs get their wacky notions? When you know the basic beliefs Conservatives hold about reality you will see why Huckabee and all other Conservatives talk this evil hearted shit,Why Democrats seeking to compromise with conservatives throw our democracy into PERIL and why a true progressive like Kuchinich is the only real choice for a REAL democrat.Find out why conservatism is anti--democratic to the core.. Here:

What exactly do Conservatives Conserve?

And someday I would hope that the scam that is ongoing under the label "conservative" will be shown for what it is: the ugliest lie of all time.

22. He is a perfect example for impeachment NOW
He could without the support and background of the Bush crime family step stupidly into unlimited power, sanctioned by new laws which have circumvented the constitutional checks and balances against a fascist dictator or a monarch wannabe.

3. "Urging opponents to commit suicide"? Um, no he didn't.
He said that if he'd spent as much money as some of his opponents and had as little to show, he'd be feeling suicidal. It's not the same thing or even close.

Huckabee is a boob. Let's not start making shit up.

7. Forced pregnancy....
Huckabee would criminalize abortion and punish doctors.

Also during his Meet The Press appearance today, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said that as President he would seek to “find some way to sanction” doctors “who took money to provide abortions to women if he succeeded in outlawing the procedure.” “I don’t know that you’d put him in prison,” added Huckabee. He said that he would “not support penalizing women who sought abortions even if they were outlawed” because he considers a woman who seeks an abortion to be “a victim, not a criminal.”

Huckabee's support of an anti-abortion amendment does not amount to forced pregnancy. Good. God.

9. It amounts to the same thing
if you cannot find a doctor who will perform the procedure. You are stuck, no alternatives.

14. If you're seeking an abortion, you're already pregnant.
Forced pregnancy amounts to rape. What we're talking about here is the loss of the ability to terminate the pregnancy or, on the flip side, forcing women to bring the pregnancy to full term.

I dislike Huckabee, and I despise most of his policies. However, I think we should represent his positions as accurately as possible.

20. And if Huckabee has any say in it, you'll be FORCED to stay pregnant. Ergo, "forced pregnancy". nm

24. I agree precise terminology is good: Forced Impregnation is the correct term
for forcing a woman to become pregnant. Or you could technically call it, still correctly, forced insemination. And yes, it is like rape.

Forced pregnancy is forcing a woman to stay pregnant.

Forced abortion (i.e. China's policy) is forcing a woman to terminate her pregnancy.

18. If you cannot get an abortion
And if no doctor will do one for you because he does not want to go to jail..and you are pregnant...Well..looks to me like you will be FORCED to have the baby. That is forced pregnancy.Same trap for women either directly or by proxy it all ends up the same way.

I'll let it go at that.

I'm salivating at the possibility that such a Neanderthal might win the Republican nomination. It would be as big a setback for the Republican party as Goldwater was in '64.

10. 'Mike Huckabee's Do-Nothing Approach to Protecting Animals.'
This, from Michael Markarian, the president
of the Humane Society Legislative Fund

http://hslf.typepad.com/political_animal/2007/12/the-presidentia.html

A former pastor, Huckabee makes a special appeal to people of faith. At HSLF, we do the same. Some animal protection groups are launching new programs that specifically aim to engage religious people and institutions on the principles of mercy and compassion. Americans of conviction bear a moral responsibility to the vulnerable and the weak.

The hunting lines might be laughable, but there’s nothing funny about an alleged family history of cruelty to animals, or the suggestion that the governor obstructed justice. Huckabee should apologize or explain the specifics regarding the camp cruelty allegations. Call his Iowa campaign office at 515-288-3708 and tell him that animal abuse is a serious crime, not a laughing matter.

Huckabee has the worst record here of all the candidates.

Ron Paul supporters or Huckabee supporters.

Both love to constantly call anyone to the left of Hitler a "Socialist" as if they f***ing knew the meaning of the word and both seem to think that they have some vast intelligence about them that most of the educated people of the world don't...

17. Are the 10 commandos really the basis of law?
1. Thou shalt have no gods before me

Not a law in the US... Yet.

2. No graven images

Can't remember the last time I saw a graven images bust on the nightly news.

3.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain

If anyone's been convicted of this, I'm sure they got off on appeal

4.Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy

It's really hard to legislate people's memories. And as for keeping it holy... how do you define that?

5. Honour thy father and thy mother

I have to admit, this is a good one. Sadly, it's not an American tradition, and short of killing your parents, you can pretty much abuse them all you want in our country.

6. Thou shalt not kill

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! (well, read the fine print on that one. I can't go out and kill for kicks, but the government is the biggest mass murderer we've got. So no. #6 is not exactly ingrained in our culture).

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery

Do I really need to keep explaining these? Let's just put an X next to this one.

8. Thou shalt not steal

We can make a lot of arguments about legal theft in America, but I have to admit, this is truly one of the cornerstones of our laws. Score one for the ten C's. (although I have to wonder, didn't people already believe this long before the burning bush thing?).

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour

Another score for the 10C crowd.

10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

OK, this one really makes me chuckle. Coveting is the cornerstone of a consumer-based economy. If we don't covet, we don't buy!!! Lets see them try to enforce this one. Say goodbye to what's left of the economy.

So that's 2.5 points out of ten for the Commandments. Maybe those two points are the cornerstone of the cornerstone of US laws.
