If Hillary Had Run for the Senate from Her Home State of Illinois...
... Barack's unfair "neighboring state advantage" would've disappeared, right?

Yeah, right.

KO rocks: his description of Hillary's appearance in the NH pizza joint tonight? "Hold the anchovies, heavy on the revisionism."

1. Too funny.
Of course, if Hillary actually had run for the U.S. Senate from Illinois, she would have lost the primary (either to Durbin in 2002 or Obama in 2004).

2. As an Illinois voter...
If it had been Hillary Clinton versus Alan Keyes, I would have....

left the voting booth with that section blank.

Knowing that the KeyesMonster could never have won, that doesn't mean I have to vote for the other...

1. She exemplifies a demographic difference on how women treat cheaters.

2. She rocked as 7 of 9.

P.S. She also lends credence to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale">Kinsey's research. As 7 of 9, she dropped me to a 5.99.

13. save your applause...jeri didn't "air it"...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeri_Ryan

In 1990, while dealing blackjack at a charity event, Jeri Lynn met investment banker and future political candidate Jack Ryan. The couple married in 1991 and had a son, Alex, in 1994. Throughout the marriage, Ryan and her husband took turns commuting between Los Angeles and Chicago for their careers, but finally divorced in 1999. Although Ryan mentioned (in an interview for Star Trek), that the frequent separations had been difficult for the marriage, the reasons for the divorce were kept sealed at their mutual request.

Five years later, when Jack Ryan's Senate campaign began, the Chicago Tribune newspaper and WLS-TV, the local ABC affiliate, sought to have the records released. Both Jeri and Jack agreed to make their divorce records public, but not the custody records, claiming that their release could be harmful to their son.

On June 22, 2004, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider agreed to release the custody files; the decision generated much controversy because it went against both parents' direct request and because it generally reversed the early decision to seal the papers in the best interest of the child. It was revealed that, six years previously, Jeri had accused Jack Ryan of asking her to perform sexual acts with him in public, and in adult clubs in New York, New Orleans, and Paris. Jeri Ryan described one as "a bizarre club with cages, whips and other apparatus hanging from the ceiling." Jack Ryan denied these allegations. Although Jeri Ryan refused to comment on the matter during the campaign, the document disclosure led Jack Ryan to withdraw his Republican candidacy for an open United States Senate seat in Illinois (which was eventually won by Barack Obama)."

34. Obama had nothing to do with it.
It was the Chicago media outlets that pressed the issue in court. Neither Obama nor his campaign was a participant in any of the legal manuvering.

35. Obama led Ryan by over 20 points even before the records were unsealed.
From CNN:

Ryan withdrew in June after court documents were unsealed in which his ex-wife alleged that he asked her to engage in sexual activity in front of patrons at sex clubs. Ryan denied the allegations. (Full story)

But Obama was a favorite even before Ryan left the race.

A Chicago Tribune/WGN-TV poll showed Obama with a large lead. The poll in late May showed Obama leading Ryan 52 percent to 30 percent. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

And a survey of 600 voters showed only 29 percent had a favorable opinion of Ryan, while 46 percent had a favorable opinion of Obama, the Tribune reported.

Obama has by far the skimpiest resume of all the remaining candidates in either party.

12. Obama's not even the first African-American senator from IL to run for POTUS
This guy is no big deal. An empty suit with a pretty face who votes "present". Right now he's what Democrats project on him. Soon he'll be what Corporama wants you to think he is. Rove bragged that he would have people thinking war hero Kerry was fighting for the Vietnamese by the time the election was over.

Be sure and tell all the Iowa caucus goers you think they are fools too--ok? They love when you do that. It really advances the discussion.
