Tobacco. As addicting as heroin. But legal.
Except when a person is put into confinement by the government.

Yup. That's right. When an inmate in most modern jails or prisons is caught with this evil drug, they might very well be punished the same or worse as if they were caught with alcohol, marijuana or crack.

That's what you want?

If it is, please vote republican.

...to use as currency, should I be locked up.

2. What are you refering to?
It sounds like you are saying that inmates are punished for possessing tobacco. Am I right?

6. Most folks don't.
Hey, you put a person in the most stressful point of their life and then take them away from their addiction...

And then expect them to reform in 30 days or less?

11. Remember Surgeon General Kopp advising Congress
NOT to ban ALL smoking? He said a complete ban on smoking would have undesirable effects.

And, in case you missed it, tobacco companies INCREASED the nicotine by 10%!

7. The fallback rate for cigarettes is 10 times that of heroin.
Smokes are actually more addictive although they are nowhere near as destructive.

9. I may have to get myself thrown in jail to quit then
What do I have to do to get around 30 days exactly?

10. I have used the jail...
method to quit in the past.

And it works! (for a while)

You won't need 30 days, just a week and some will power.

But if you want 30 days, just do some minimal mischief,

and don't bail out until day 30...
